Brix at Harvest:   23
Appearance: Medium purple/garnet colour
Aroma: Milk chocolate, mint, cherry, slight herbaceous

Brix at Harvest:   22.5
Appearance: Black/purple colour

Palate: Very full bodied, lots of tannin, black currant flavours
My thoughts on timing: Needs a couple of years to soften the tannins, very similar to the '95 vintage. I would decant this wine and serve it with food if I wanted a full bodied youthfull wine now. Will keep easily until 2008
