This medium bodied dry Chardonnay comes from out 35 yr old block vineyard in Lot 31. The vines have been carefully tended to produce extremely low yields of 1.25 ton/acre.
Approximately 85% of the juice was free-run and the remainder underwent a slow light pressing. The juice was placed in new French and American cooperage and allowed to ferment for a period of 38 days, followed by a period of 6 months sur-lie aging.
